MONTHLY LUNCHEON
​Chamber members gather on the second Thursday of the month for the Monthly Chamber Luncheon. Held at different member facilities throughout the county, this series features a guest speaker presenting an interesting and timely topic, from authors and marketing experts to elected officials and inspirational individuals. The Monthly Chamber Luncheon Series is also a great networking opportunity for our members.

NETWORKING BREAKFASTS
The Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce offers monthly networking breakfast options for members.

MBPA NETWORKING BREAKFAST
The Murrysville Business & Professional Association Chapter Networking Breakfast is held on the first Thursday of each month, 7:45 to 9:00 AM, at Dick's Diner in Murrysville.

WAKE UP WESTMORELAND
The Wake Up Westmoreland networking breakfast is held on the third Tuesday of every month, 8:00 to 9:15 AM, at various member businesses throughout Westmoreland County.

MONTHLY B.A.S.H. 
(Business After Scheduled Hours)
​Business After Scheduled Hours events provide members with the opportunity to network with other professionals in a casual, informal environment. BASHes are held on the third Wednesday or Thursday of each month from 4:30-6:30 pm at a different member business. Thanks to a generous sponsorship by Dollar Bank, Chamber members pay no fee to attend BASH events, although registrations are still required.

Hosting a Chamber BASH allows members to showcase their business by opening their facility to other members. Hosts are able to distribute brochures and literature to attendees, offer tours, and speak at the event.

WESTMORELAND COUNTY
PRAYER BREAKFAST
​Since 1976, the Westmoreland County Prayer Breakfast has featured prominent leaders from the sectors of Business, Education, Government and Labor on a rotating basis. Each year leaders from one of the four sectors offer up spiritual readings and messages of hope. The Prayer Breakfast offers a unique opportunity for community leaders to gather in a forum that builds upon the strengths that unite us as residents, elected officials, employers, educators, and workers. The Westmoreland County Chamber is proud to bring together individuals from all faiths in a prayerful tone to petition our Creator to make this community a better place to live, learn, work, and play. The event also gathers students from every school district in Westmoreland County as a way to highlight the importance of unity to tomorrow’s leaders. This event is presented each January in conjunction with Westmoreland College.

STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON
​The Chamber celebrates “Administrative Professionals Day” each spring with this special luncheon for employers and their employees. Business owners and executives are invited to show appreciation for their staff’s dedication and hard work by treating them to this exciting afternoon luncheon. The beautiful baskets and extravagant grand prize packages raffled off add an extra bit of excitement to the afternoon.

GOLF CLASSIC
The Westmoreland County Chamber’s annual Golf Classic is one of the premier golf fundraising events in Westmoreland County. This full-day outing includes lunch, a round of golf, grand buffet dinner, skill prizes, putting contest and raffles.

This event is held on the first Monday in June and traditionally sells out each year.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING
& ​AWARDS CEREMONY
​The Chamber’s Annual Business Meeting & Awards Ceremony is held each fall to announce and welcome the newly elected Board Members and thank the departing Board Members who have completed their term. The event provides members with an overview of the past year’s accomplishments and announces the organization’s goals for the upcoming year. 

Also featured at this yearly event is an awards ceremony honoring the top business leaders from throughout Westmoreland County.  Award categories include Business of the Year, Not-for-Profit of the Year, Chamber Member of the Year, and ATHENA® Award.

HOLIDAY BASH
​The Chamber’s biggest networking event of the year, the Holiday BASH is held on the first Wednesday in December from 5:00-8:00 pm.

This event includes roughly 80 vendor tables, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, prizes and a 50/50 raffle. More than 400 people attend this spectacular, one-of-a-kind holiday event each year.
