For example, the Apple Hill Playhouse in Delmont delights audiences with its summer stock theater performed in a century-old barn. Westmoreland County is also home to two professional theater companies: StageRight and Saint Vincent Summer Theatre. StageRight is a school for the performing arts and professional theatre company located in Greensburg. Their mission is to bring high-quality, professional musical theatre productions and education to Westmoreland County and the surrounding areas. Saint Vincent Summer Theatre, a part of Saint Vincent College, has been in operation for more than 35 years. The professional Equity Theatre offers productions during the summer, spring and fall.
