Chad Amond was named president of the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce in December of 2011. In this role, Mr. Amond is responsible for implementing the organization's strategic plan, identifying opportunities to increase membership value, managing day-to-day business operations and serving as the organization’s principal communicator.
Previously, Mr. Amond served as president of the Monroeville Chamber of Commerce. Under his leadership, that organization grew to become one of the largest and most influential business associations in Allegheny County representing over 725 companies in Monroeville and across Pittsburgh’s east suburbs.
Prior to his chamber experience, Chad served as communications and marketing director at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville PA, and held several senior level positions in the field of sports marketing and management – most notably with the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, and at Pittsburgh's Mellon Arena.
Chad earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Slippery Rock University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Seton Hill University. In 2008 he was recognized by PITTSBURGH MAGAZINE as one of Pittsburgh’s 40 under 40. He is a graduate of the highly competitive Leadership Pittsburgh program Class XXVII and sits on a number of community organization boards and advisory councils.
Chad and his wife Amy reside in Unity Township with their four young children.
Amy Fauth was hired as Communications Coordinator of the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce on March 18, 2013. Amy is responsible for all message generation and for maintaining and implementing the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce brand through various communication channels. She also facilitates all internal and external communication, including, but not limited to, print publications, online publications, press releases and social media sites. Prior to this position, Amy founded and operated her own copywriting firm, and previously held positions in the mainstream media in the advertising, marketing and editorial fields. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in English Writing Communications. She resides in Hempfield Township with her husband, Chris and son, Tyler.
Leadership Westmoreland Facilitator
Grace joined the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce staff in 2014 as Facilitator of Leadership Westmoreland, a 9-month leadership development program sponsored by the chamber along with support from other chambers in the county. Grace is responsible for spearheading all detailed aspects of the Leadership Westmoreland program. Grace’s experience encompasses the worlds of business, hospitality and higher education. With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Crown American Hotels’ 27 hotels in seven states for 10 years before becoming the President and CEO. She has held the designation of Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) for nineteen years. Her experience in higher education includes the positions of Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Associate Vice President for Continuing Education at the community college level. She is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a B.A. in Business Economics, and has an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Grace is a long time member of the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau where she is a past Chairman of the Board. She founded and operates High Impact2, Inc., a consulting business that has a presence in Ligonier and Johnstown.
Director of Operations
Joanne started her career with the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce in July 2012 and currently serves as Director of Operations with responsibilities including accounting, administrative and general office functions and membership database management. Prior to this position, Joanne served 24 years with the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau – as Director of Finance & Administration for the last three years. She graduated from Saint Vincent College with a degree in Business Administration. She resides in Hempfield Township with her husband, Scott and son, Nathaniel.
Director of Membership Services
Leyla Pilon-Sinclair was hired as the Director of Membership Services of the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce on June 15, 2015. Leyla is primarily responsible for membership relations, recruitment and retention. However, her duties also include advertising sales, procurement of sponsorships, various event planning/execution, various committee leadership roles, facilitation of networking events, database management and general office work. Prior to this position, Leyla worked in the human services field assisting Westmoreland County residents with hunger-related issues, domestic and sexual violence, mental health issues and providing adequate housing. She graduated from Seton Hill University with a degree in Human Services she also has a degree in business/marketing from Business Careers Institute. She is a founding member of the Rotary of Westmoreland. Leyla resides in Hempfield Township with her husband, Gary. Together they have three children and one granddaughter.
